Tamanend LED Certified Sites

Tamanend includes two Louisiana Economic Development (LED) Certified Sites to further strengthen
the state’s business and industrial environment.


At the Heart of Meaningful Commerce

The two sites are zoned for office development of 480,000 square feet and warehouse development of 720,000 square feet.

LED Certification identifies development-ready sites enhancing the Louisiana economy. Requirements include:

  • Twenty-five or more contiguous, buildable acres above the 100-year flood plain
  • Infrastructure in place to provide 250,000 gallons of potable water per day
  • Provision for treating 250,000 gallons of wastewater per day
  • Highway access sufficient to support 83,400 pounds
  • Three-phase electrical service
  • Completed Phase I environmental audit and clearance letter for threatened or endangered species
  • Geotechnical survey
  • Cultural resources study
  • Wetlands delineation
  • Advanced telecommunications service

St. Tammany Parish is experiencing incredible growth, and doing business here makes smart business sense:

  • New business incorporations averaged 347 per month in 2020, an increase of 39% in last two years
  • From 2015 to 2020, jobs increased by 3%, from 99,871 to 102,967. This change outpaced Louisiana’s growth rate of -2.3% and the national growth rate of 3.5% during the same period
  • Median household income is $67,700, which is $7,400 higher than the national average
  • Wages are 29.2% higher than Louisiana’s median income and 10.9% higher than the national median income
  • Estimated 114,476 labor force in 2020 within St. Tammany Parish
  • The Parish has one of the highest rates of college degree holders in the state, with 41.6% of the population holding a college degree
